Performance Data

As a truly comprehensive school we celebrate all pupils, regardless of their starting point in terms of prior attainment.

We have high ambitions all pupils to achieve their potential.  Our exam results are consistently strong and we monitor progress carefully throughout a pupil’s time with us.   

Ofsted Report

The Ofsted report in 2008 gave inspection judgements on the school in several areas under different headings.

The headings are overall effectiveness, achievements and standards, personal development and well-being, the quality of provision and leadership and management. QES obtained a grade 1 (outstanding) for all these areas.

Performance Data

The performance measures are designed to encourage schools to offer a broad and balanced curriculum with a focus on an academic core at key stage 4, and to reward schools for the teaching of all their pupils.

The performance tables provide considerable more data in each of these areas. Very often it is broken down into Maths,
English, the Ebacc subjects (Science, Languages and Humanities) and the open subjects (all other subjects studied)
