Queen Elizabeth School

Partnership Agreement

We know young people perform best when parents, pupils and school work in close collaboration. So here are some of the things we need to do to ensure each young person is valued and encouraged to develop to their full potential.

Parents/Carers will:

  • See that my/our child goes to school regularly, on time and is properly equipped
  • Make school aware of any information, which would help us to support my/our child
  • Make school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my/our child’s work or behaviour
  • Support school in the standards it seeks to achieve, in upholding its values and with its behaviour expectations and sanctions
  • Support my/our child in homework and other opportunities for home-learning, helping him/her to sustain effort and achievement and maintain interest
  • Attend Subject and Academic Review discussions about my/our child’s progress
  • Work with school to keep my/our child safe

Queen Elizabeth School will:

  • Ensure that each child achieves their full potential as a valued member of the school community
  • Treat pupils fairly, modelling respect
  • Provide an inclusive environment where all pupils feel safe and know how to stay safe
  • Provide a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs of each child
  • Promote high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships, encouraging a sense of responsibility and upholding school values
  • Keep parents/carers informed about general school matters, safety issues and about their child’s progress

The Pupil will:

  • Attend school regularly and on time
  • Bring all the equipment I need every day
  • Wear the school uniform correctly and be tidy in appearance
  • Uphold the 10 School Core Values
  • Try my best to be a successful learner
  • Behave in a way which shows I am proud to be a member of the QES community both inside and outside of school
  • Do my best to follow the Behaviour for Learning guidance
  • Respond to all reasonable requests
